Farahim Hajiyev currently serves as the Director of Financial Control and Treasury at the Veysəloğlu Group of Companies.
He joined Veysəloğlu in 2020 as Head of the Financial Control Division, was promoted to Head of Financial and Business Control Department in 2023, and in 2025 advanced to his current role as Director of Financial Control and Treasury.
Farahim is a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship and was selected as a winner of the “State Program for the Education of Azerbaijani Youth in Prestigious Foreign Universities”, earning his Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester (UK) in 2012–2015.
From 2015 to 2017, he worked as a trader in the Treasury and Asset Management Department at PASHA Bank OJSC. Between 2017 and 2020 years, he served as an auditor and then senior auditor at Deloitte & Touche, contributing to a range of local and international projects across the firm’s Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan offices.
In 2023, Farahim was named a winner of the “Yüksəliş” competition, a national program initiated under Presidential Decree No. 1354 (2019) to identify, develop, and nurture the country’s top management talent.
Farahim possesses over 10 years of extensive experience in banking, treasury, audit and assurance, financial management and control, execution of projects with local and international financial institutions, and the expansion of financing instruments. He continues to successfully develop his professional expertise in these areas.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, he is actively engaged in teaching and mentoring, guiding dozens of talented students in their personal and professional development.
